Sunset Bay’s Executive Chef Natasha Harris and her team competed at this year’s Ocean Wise Chowder Chowdown at the Vancouver Aquarium and came out victorious. The competition brings together 12 of Vancouver’s top chefs competing to support of The Ocean Wise Foundation benefitting responsible “ocean friendly” fishing techniques.
Chef Harris won the “People’s Choice Award” for best chowder of the competition… with competitors such as Yew Restaurant, O’Douls, and Coast among many Vancouver favourites. The award was the result of 550 voting ballots cast by the attending guests.
